Dawn is a teacher and facilitator at heart. Her passion is working with individuals and organizations to achieve their best.  As an educator, she believes everyone has tremendous knowledge, skills and experience to build upon. Dawn sees her role is to foster this and empower others to see it as well.

For the last eight years, Dawn has worked with the Canadian Cancer Society, PEI Division; seven as Executive Director.  In this role, Dawn managed all aspects of the organization including fundraising, marketing, communications, cancer control programs and government relations.  During this time, Dawn managed the organization through tremendous growth in revenues and programs.

Dawn has been a leader in the non-profit and government partnership sector, fostering many partnerships, strategies and committees at the provincial, regional and national levels. Dawn has served as the chair of the PEI Cancer Control Strategy Steering Committee, co-chair of the PEI Healthy Living Strategy Committee, President of the Council for a Smoke-Free PEI and Prince Edward Island’s representative on numerous national committees including the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Pan-Canadian Healthy Living Strategy.

Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts (English Major) and Bachelor of Education from Acadia University. Dawn also holds a Masters of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University.

Within the Canadian Cancer Society and various partnerships, Dawn has gained real life experience developing, managing and implementing marketing campaigns, communications strategies, business plans and comprehensive strategic plans.

Dawn’s passion is creating a vision for the future and helping others realize how they can achieve it.

Kerry Anne MacDougall

Kerry Anne is a passionate and effective marketer who has proven her skills by launching, marketing and growing her own successful business.  She knows and understands the challenges facing businesses and organizations, bringing that knowledge to everything she does.

Kerry Anne began her career in 2002 with the PEI Rocket (a QMJHL team) and then moved on to expand her experience with Sport New Brunswick as Director of Marketing and Events in 2004. In this role she led a complete rebranding of the organization and executed one of Fredericton’s most successful annual fundraising events.

Upon moving back to her home of PEI, Kerry Anne launched Insight Marketing. Her expertise has helped numerous businesses grow and achieve their goals.  She has developed and implemented successful marketing strategies for tourism operators, retailers, theatres, restaurants and a variety of non-profit organizations.

Kerry Anne recognizes that the world of marketing is ever evolving and prides herself on staying current with respect to the latest marketing developments in order to support her clients’ needs. For instance, using marketing principles as the foundation of social networking, Kerry Anne has distributed her knowledge of social media throughout the Maritimes to hundreds of business leaders who appreciate her no-nonsense approach.

Kerry Anne is a strong community supporter. She is currently President of the PEI Business Women’s Association, an active committee member of the Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce and an advisor for both the Entrepreneur’s Forum and Holland Colleges’ Marketing and Advertising Management program.

Kerry Anne’s clear, insightful and honest approach to all things marketing are motivating business leaders everywhere to think big.

When she is not saving the world through marketing, she’s just mom to her two children Will and Addie.
